Squirrel Saves a Walnut

One of my favorite memories of my mother is her love of "stray" animals. She kept a large bag of walnuts behind her sofa to help feed the squirrels who visited her. She had names for each one & they would eat out of her hand. Several years passed this way, and in the Spring, they would bring their babies by to meet mom & feast on walnuts on the braided oval rug. It took about two weeks, to complete this watercolor by special request of my daughter, who keeps her grandmother's love of squirrels alive. Available as a limited edition to just 100 total for $49.50, matte can be added for just $5 below. You will receive an approximate sized 8.5 in x 11 inches on archival, high quality watercolor paper, signed and hand numbered. The original will not be sold but remains in the family private collection.
