^^These are German made "Staedtker" Graphite pencils, white 'blunts' for smuding/blending and moldable eraser next to the pencil sharpner - just the basic supplies I use for drawing - you may choose a different brand or - even a regular #2 school pencil will work! I would avoid the pink/pencil end erasers - they tend to tear into the papers or leave marks.
I'm a suppli-a-holic but it's not the tools that make great art but artists that make art great.
All starting sketches are done in light graphite pencil as a guide only.
